Heading home

Flying in to Baltimore after a long and glorious week. My joints don’t want to work too well but I’m all smiles. I’m watching Dave Reeder obviously telling stories about the week. Mr. And Mrs. Jones managed a row to themselves. Scott Fischer is sleeping. Alan Mac and his wife are here as are the Gershmans, R U S S Russ-Russ-Russ and his wife, JD, Alan Tilles, Lou, and others I cannot see. (Coach Hoiles is having an Angry Birds marathon).

We saw Tackett off at the airport while Steve is rushing back to Sarasota with Jeff Lantz’ luggage (what a ride in with Steve. Chris in the front seat while me, Jeff, and my luggage are crammed in the backseat) Jeff said something about two mice doing something in a wool sock to describe the experience. We were close, to put it mildly.

All of us heading home and I’m ready to be there.

I have tried to keep things going on this site. I do have more to add but I hope it has been enjoyable.

Check back for photos in a few weeks.

One last thing at Twin Lakes

I took advantage of one last opportunity to visit Twin Lakes. The Orioles were hosting a baseball clinic and I got to help out.

About 60 young ball players received instruction from Mike Deveraux on base running, Chris Hoiles on hitting, Jeff Tackett on fielding, and Dave Ford on pitching. They enjoyed a hot dog lunch while me Jeff, and Chris crammed into Steve Freeman’s care

The Bird also made an appearance.
